This is an open ended question that I am unable to completely answer. Pain can be acute or chronic. Pain can be also psychological/psychiatric.
If it is the latter, then feel no shame in going and seeking help from someone who can. (psychologist /psychiatrist)
If it is the first, then go to a doctor and get referred to a pain clinic. Chronic pain is a deblilitaing problem and you would do well to go to a multi-disciplinary clinic where the aspects of pain are considered.

I'm sure if you saw the tylenol or aspirin answers, you must have smiled...and for that one second the pain was not there. Now try smiling about something else.

Go to your doctor immediately and they can help you. If you do not prefer any medical intervention, then they can point you in the direction of someone who can help you by alternate means. They are very helpful, sympathetic, understanding, and you just might get someone who has gone through something similar to your circumstances.

Most pain is temporary. Concentrate on something else and this too shall pass.
