slang for White person, gabacho is another term. So people view it as derogatory, however, Mexico is not a very P. C. country. People are often called by there appearance such as gordo (fat man), flaco (skinny man, moreno (dark skinned man) ***** (black man)
etc. The terms are not meant to hurt feelings but more of an honest statement.
