I am natually blonde and I must say that it's always been great for me. If I'm with a group of girls and I'm the only blonde, I will always get noticed first whether I like it or not and so many people have told me they'd love to have my blonde hair. This makes me sounds really stuck up and I am honestly sooo the opposite of that, but it's just always something that stands out. The saying "blondes have more fun" must have come from somewhere as it has been around for years and is still widely used today, and men always call girls "blondie" when they fancy them, but they don't flirt with brunettes by saying "hey brownie," or whatever.
Having said all this, I have to say that I am MAD about red hair. It is so stunning. I had red streaks put in once and absolutely loved it and when you see a redhead with a pretty face, it just takes all the rubbish things people say about them away. It is a rarer colour to have compared to blonde or brunette and that is why I think people pick on it, but the rarity is what makes it so great because it stands out in the same way blonde hair does and doesn't just blend in with the crowd. As much as I love being blonde, I am so tempted to just go all the way and get an all-over red colour. Feel proud of your hair because your picture is gorgeous girl!

Red hair is so beautiful, unique and I would have loved red hair, my friend has the most beautiful long thick red hair I have ever seen and grrrrrrrrrrrr she hates it big time, she is even talking seriously about doing the blond thing, she must be mad, if guys are going for the blonds then its just cause they can, a real man will go for the woman underneath the hair regardless of colour.

No way. My sister has natural red hair and is stunning. Although me and my other sister are too. I'm brunette and she's blond. The blond one gets more idiots beeping in cars though but that may be because of the breast implants she has.
I prefer dark haired men, don't usually go for blonde's but if i liked a guy, his hair wouldn't be an issue.

some do, and some do not. it is purely the way it is going with human beings, and it particularly would not matter what colour the female's hair is, some will like it and others received't. For me, there is so a lot extra to it than purely the colour of the female's hair. there is the length, too. there is the way it ought to praise her face (it is yet another matter of opinion to even if i hit upon her to have a rather face or no longer) and then there is a few thing of her figure besides. there is particularly lots that is going into even if someone considers yet another human being appealing.

Speaking personally - and I can only speak personally - I find Red-heads to be very attractive.
But in the end, it is the person wearing the hair, not the hair that matters. I would much prefer Nicole Kidman to Paris Hilton any day.
And to be honest - I still have a bit of a crush on Molly Ringwald.

Yes, I do! Red or bronze hair are my favorite hair colors. It's just an idea that blonde haired women look better, but I think dark hair also is more attractive than blonde.

Blondes do it for me every time, there is always the concern that a red haired girls will be way too scarey to be around and black haired girls are too messy.
Brown haired girls are boring, and far too few girls ever leave a comment on my 360, not that I blame them with all this prejudice!

Lots of people have a real fetish for red-heads. Personally, I think it's irrelevant. If you mean from a purely visual point of view, it really doesn't matter about hair colour if the girl is pretty anyway.
I think it's just unfortunate that lots of ginger people (both male and female) happen to be butt ugly aswell. It must be a genetic thing that the 'ugly gene' often goes hand-in-hand with the 'ginger gene'.
From your pic, you look pretty good so don't worry about it!

I am most attracted to reds and brunnetts - I married a red head lady (for her, not for her hair; but the hair certainly helped in the initial attraction). Blondes do nothing for me. But, each person is different as to what they like best.

I read the first bit of the question and was going to answer "Yes, one of my best friends at school was a red-headed girl". But now I have read the rest and have realised that it is all about male/female attraction and stuff. My answer doesn't seem to fit anymore!!!
I am not sure about men's opinions, but personally I just love ginger men!!! Enough to marry one!! Phwoar!!
