Because the pupils apply themselves more, they have a greater need to achieve a good education. I lived in a third world country in Africa and even though children were hungry and dressed in rags it never stopped them going to school and doing their homework. They are the most rewarding pupils to teach ever.

in all poor asian countries, there are schools that are of higher standard. so those middle to higher clases go to these schools.
some lower middle class families, they work very hard to send their many children to good schools, bec they believe education is foremost in a life of a person.
those with money, go to the uk or usa to get their education.

They focus on the core areas - mathematics, science, language, engineering etc.- more than "feel good" courses.

instead of spening all their money on bombs, althletes, and actors (making over a million dolars) they use their money on books and supplies. People seriously dont realize how stupid America is... and yes... im american
