Which bike is best to get?

I am wishing to buy a bicycle. I want it just for fun. No stunts. I want a bike. A bike that is cool for teenagers, and not grandpa bikes.

doesn't have to be a bmx. But could be.

get a mountain bike, they are cool, most of the time fairly inexpensive, and are good all-around bikes. any brand is good

Specialized P series. Made for jumps and what not, but so are BMX bikes. real cool if you wanna stand apart from BMXers, but try to get some skills so you arent a poser, and you might even come to love Mt. Biking. Your question is kind of vague so i gave you the best answer i could. Of course, if you wanted the high end, you could get a santa Cruz V-10 or for the fast people Cervelo P3C.

You should look into a particular type of mountain bike classed as "urban assault." Sounds lovely, doesn't it?

Basically, they look like a hybrid between a BMX and a freeride mountain bike. They usually have smaller frames with heavy gussets for extra strength around the cranks and steering, disc brakes, and suspension forks specific to dirt jumping.

Bike like this would be the Specialized P1, Trek Jack series and the Haro Thread series of bikes.

There are so many to choose from---BMX? ( Find a cool bike from BMXplus magazine---there are sweet kits)Mountain bikes? Try the KHS XC-104, Zion 660, Haro Thread One or the ZERO ( a one-speed KILLER) or the GT IDXC 1.0. Find your size, test ride before you buy ( in bike shops, NEVER in dept. stores!!!) and wear safety gear so you can prevent injury----RIDE THE WIND!
