Who cares? I think yes, but the thing is, it really doesn't matter. Israel and Hammas are as bad as each other. Of course really, the whole middle-east problem was caused by... The British. We ruled most of the world so we were bound to mess up once and the biggest gaff was buying land from Turkey ehich wasn't theirs to sell and giving the Israelites their current home. Why there? Jerusalem. Did we care that this city happened to be holy not just to christians and jewsbut also to muslims? Nope. It was a quick fix.
But because of this, everyone hates eachother in that neck of the woods and seeing as we made the mess, I think we should clean it up. The problem, as previously stated, is Jerusalem, so why don't we just remove it? Get everybody out, make them all stand back and then we can just flatten it. Get rid of that city and no-one would have anything to fight over. I don't mind taking full responsibility. Everyone can blame me. When you have two kids fighting over a toy, you don't arm them and push them up against each other, do you? No. You take the toy away and tell them that if they can't play nice with Jerusalem, then they can't play with it at all. That stupid song which bangs on about how we would love Jerusalem built on England's green and verdant hills is so, so wrong. The amount of troubles it causes is rediculous. Or we could organise a time sare thing? I'm not joking. It would solve everything. Split the year three ways, which is four months each and no-one can complain.
The joke of it all is that the Bible, Quoran and Torrah all preach that material things (like cities) don't matter. Everyone should just grow up in that neck of the woods.

So today's events mean nothing with regard to whether or not Israel is the aggressor. This probably has little to do with that conflict, though we won't know for sometime. This government should be charged with criminal negligence for the way they have let Israel attack Lebannon, but our Police force deserves more than a pat on the back.

Israel tried playing nice and giving back quite a bit of land. They were extremely conciliatory with Palestine, even though Hamas is a terrorist organization. This was unimaginable even 5 years ago.

Even so, Hamas decided to press with the suicide attacks and rockets. Given that Israel tried a peaceful solution, the only alternative is defense through a strong offense. Sitting there and singing kumbaya is only going to result in more dead Israelis at bus stop and restaurant bombings. Terrorists can't be reasoned with--they must be destroyed.

No Israel is NOT the aggressor. They are defending themselves against terrorists actions. I've thought this way from the start, and will continue to think this!

Never thought that Israel was the aggressor to begin with...though just the same I do not support Israel's current actions. I said it before and I'll say it again: instead of bombs, just fracking assasinate that mo'fo Nasrallah and his goons (with assasins, not bombs).

For those of you whom I suspect will still tow their anti-Israel lines: whats your preoccupation with Lebanese lives only...for you fu*ckers is that all that matters??? you guys then are no better and are worse in fact than those who only see Israeli deaths in this tragedy.

It really doesn't matter who the aggressor was THIS TIME. Both sides will use any excuse to kill the other side. This has been going on for 4000 years, and both sides are warmongers who will happily kill women and children on the other side. Both sides are without honor

The terrorists in Lebanon fired missiles into Israel first. Some people conveniently seem to forget this.

Yes, Israel is not defending itsself, merely butchering innocents and this is not acceptable. However, Hezbollah is just as bad and needs to stop fighting, and start talking.
