All of the above are wrong. The length of the coast line is not the same as the distance if you walked around it.
You can not walk right by the water line due to obstacles and hazards.

A man who did walk around the coast (John Merril) in 1978 set off from St Pauls in 1978.

You say the UK. That includes all the little islands and small rocky out crops again impossible to do.
So I would say John Merrills figure of Just short of 7000 miles is the most realistic answer to your question.

6824 miles to walk around the Mainland UK coast line.
