Some people on here are aggressive with their answers?

Question

I ask questions for my personal information AND ask for GENERAL PUBLIC interest and inquisitiveness. So please dont assume every question concerns ME the individual who's asking the question. Cool it! some of you guys in America, and dont forget this is a shared portal and there are differences in our culture and differences in the ways we express ourselves. Keep it open and DO NOT ASSUME its personal. Pissed off Brit!

Just a thought..... Telling people to "cool it" comes off as you being a little agressive yourself. This is a shared portal as you said, so maybe it would be beneficial for you to not take things so personaly or like we say in America: This is a free country and free speach is something we enjoy.
Don't take this the wrong way, but if you don't like or agree with the answers your getting, you are free to find another avenue to find answers to your questions.
People can get along as long as they take everything with a sense of humor. No-one here knows you, so obviously they aren't really directing any insults or cultural differences at you.

It just can't be helped nowadays. Everyone is busy. So they might appear a bit brusque in their replies. But if you read the long answers you'll see that a lot of thought goes behind the answers. People might just try to be funny when confronted with questions which seem personal. After all a blog such as this attracts all kinds of birds. So just as not all your questions may not be of a personal nature, just assume that all the answers are not personally directed to you.

That's a very valid point you have raised. I am of the opinion that there is too much slagging off of people on political issues; I am sick and tired of the constant attitude of anglophobia from many who contribute answers to this page. It is in danger of becoming a total free-for-all. Yahoo should forbid such comments, and stick to what this website is - questions and answers.

I know I speak my mind the same as the next man, but I do know where to draw the line. Too many don't.
