Yes. my husband and I just stayed at Heathrow Airport overnight on 11/03/15 due to AA messed up our flight schedule. As we learned, passengers can only stay at Terminal 3 outside at Arriving area. Therefore you need to go through the immigration. Immigration officer was very nice and gave us instruction. It is right outside immigration. once you learn how, it is very easy. There is 24 hour café and benches. There are quite a few people stay there. after 12 everything was quite till 4:30 the following morning. There is clear sign and workers instructed us to go back to terminal 5. Heathrow is a huge and organized airport.

The implications of what we have seen and heard on television are horrendous and mind-boggling.Full details will be known when investigating agencies get to the bottom of this conspiracy.On the face of it, it appears to be a plot to cause a massive damage of life and property surpassing 9/11 by blowing up several aircraft in the air by explosives carried in the hand luggage. It is presumed that materials carried in the hand luggage will be assembled in aircraft on board and detonated. How they plan to get past security and detection equipment is not clear. But it is being surmised that the explosives will be of liquid variety and will not be detected, Also the detonation in air was to be adequate to tear a hole in the fuselage and rest of the damage will be done by the air gushing in at 500mph tearing up the skin and causing failure of structure and eventual destruction of aircraft. It is sad and unfortunate but indeed frightening. Once the investigators on this job for some time were sure they swooped on the terrorists to foil the plot and stop the whole operation,

Well, from the terrorist point of view, the taxpayers are just as guilty because they directly fund the governments that are causing issues in the middle east (Israel, and allies USA and GB).

In addition, since USA and GB are democracies, the people voted for the government, meaning the government is controlled by the people, so then the general population is guilty of the crimes being perpetuated by israel. It actually makes sense if you can put yourself in another's shoes.

What we need to do is find a way to eliminate theocracies, that is, get rid of governments where religion plays a role in decisionmaking and policy. That's the root cause of these issues, opposing theocracies/ethnocracies sitting next to each other (israel and its neighbors). There must be some way for the western nations to use their economic clout to force countries to adopt something similar to the US first amendment...

They're trying to make the western world live in fear by launching attacks on civilians. They not only terrorize people in countries like the US and the UK, but they also terrorize the millions of innocent, good Muslims around the world who are getting a bad name from extremists who have nothing in common with them except the name 'Muslim'. As a Christian, I feel the same way about other "Christians" who bomb abortion clinics.

A big pat on the back to the UK and US intelligence and airport security forces for stopping this threat, and doing everything in their power to keep us safe. They have difficult, almost impossible jobs, and they deserve a lot of credit for this.

Fighting terrorists abroad so we don't have to fight them at home??? Think about the fact that this was a plot involving people in the UK attacking UK-US flights. We DO have to fight this at home, that's the sad reality of the situation. Fighting "terrorists" in Iraq hasn't done anything to keep us safe. Hiring talented anti-terror and intelligence personnel has kept us safe from this attack. We need to devote more money to hiring even more of them to continue to keep us safe.
