You can't eliminate it. Malays use English to communicate with other people in their country. when used to communicate in a new place, languages are creative and borrow from other languages to express the cultural realities around them and just because it's fun. When Europeans came to the US, we added all sorts of things to and changed things in English -- and the British hated it. So don't be an arrogant goof. Yanks, Brits, Aussies, Kiwis, etc never had control of what happens to English and never will.

well, there is "Franglish" in France "Spanglish" in Mexico, "Taglish" in the Philippines...You can't elliminate them. English is 2nd language for a lot of people (even more so in Malaysia which is a Commonwealth country), using English words gives prestige to the speaker and, even more, English is so syntetic that it suits the needs of modern technisised life. If you try to protect the "purity" of the language by institutional measures you will only trigger a reversed reaction. It's just a trend and it's temporary.
