Generally with opposite sexed dogs aggression is not as bad. it is also lower if they are fixed. I would NEVER suggest leaving 2 bully breeds alone unsupervised. Pit bulls ( I do love them) have been bred for dog aggression. It is not something that will neccessarly happen, but it is always a possibility. (with that said, please note that i said dog aggression. you should not have to worry about people aggression. unless you treat them VERY badly)
Will they fight? I don't think that anyone can answer that. may they? maybe yeah. the best way to avoid that is lot of socialization, proper training, and never leaving them unsupervised.

Well I think that's like asking if you all ready have a child and you are pregnant with your second one will the first one be jealous? Some kids are, others find it wonderful having a baby sister/brother.It totally depends on the kids personality.
Well the same applies here. They could fight, they could become the best friends ever. You can never know until you get them together in the same room.
I would suggest if you have the choice get a female puppy, that way you lower the chances that the pitbull will feel threatened by another male.
I think that because your pitbull is still young he won't mind,I think he will welcome the companionship well,he will have a playmate. But still,6 months is the time when they usually mature sexually so he could be more aggressive anyway.Like said before never leave unsupervised, and if you see any aggression take them apart. In time I think they will learn to get along or at least to tolerate each other.
Good luck.
P.S. Remember not to favor the new puppy. That can cause jealousy and you don't want that, trust me!

Those are very aggressive dogs so they will naturally fight even as puppies, so you'd better find a trainer who you can trust to teach them to love.
Unless you have a rare case like my German Sheperd. Contrary to normal conventions, he is very passive. Our short fat labrador bullies him. Your dogs could be passive too, but don't count on it.
