We need to choose our fights very carefully and use diplomacy to prevent wars whenever possible. Iraq was a big mistake and it could cost us our liberty. The Saudi government provides a large amount of the oil we need, but they have been teaching hate America in their schools for a long time. Solution quit using oil and start using water as a fuel. Hydrogen and Oxygen from water make a really powerful fuel.

Regardless of the origin of the terrorists, the fact is that their organization, al Qaeda (translation - The Goatfuckers) and their leader, Osama bin Laden, was in Afghanistan, protected by the barbaric theocratic rule of the Taliban. That's why we went into Afghanistan.

As for Iraq, that was never about 9/11 - what even made you think it was?

But there were numerous reasons for attacking Iraq, specifically: 1. It's failure to prove it had destroyed its WMDs per the UN-brokered ceasefire agreement to Gulf War 1. Yes, Saddam had WMDs, including significant quantities of biological and chemical agents. Specifically, he had never accounted for the VX nerve agents or the precursor chemicals. [ref1]
2. It's failure to have proved it had dismantled all its WMD labs and facilities. [ref1]
3. Worked with al Qaeda, including establishing training facilities
4. Supported various other terrorist organizations. Saddam sent checks to suicide bombers that blew up Israelis
5. And the rest of the issues listed in UN Res 1441 [ref2]

The war was neither 'illegal' nor was it for oil.

As the president said - you are entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to your own 'facts'.

well for one thing, the Saudi born terrorists went into hiding in AFGHANISTAN.. which is why we invaded THAT country. Oh yeah, and Saudi Arabia condemned the actions of Al Quaeda as well and did NOT harbor international terrorists, which is why there was no need to invade.

Iraq has nothing to do with the events of September 11, 200. never did. We took out Hussein because of his continued disregard for UN sanctions and requests for ending production of WMD.
