I would go for personality, although looks couldn't hurt anyones chances... The only thing about looks is that they can fade, and you will end up getting stuck with the most boring person in the world, don't know if they are out there but if you are I am talking about you....

Looks is not that important but it may add to your personality. If you have good looks then, you'll feel confident and have pride in yourself. But what really counts, is that a person must have a good personality. You can never establish a good and a happy relationship with other people if you have a not so good personality.

Vanity is the favourite sin. I`m vain. I vote for the look. Only an ordinary person would wanna be with someone ugly, but has the best personality ever. Oscar Wilde said that beauty is neverending, and you can learn personality...I`m still thinking about this concept, but lets be real. We always look , and then we start thinking and analizing..

Personality I would like to think would over ride looks. But I would have to say there has to be something to look at to get your attention. I don't mean knock down dead beautiful, or handsome most men I've dated that seem to "look Perfect" have been jerks down deep. Personality is a key, only way to make a relationship last.

I would say of bit of both. Being good looking does help with some ladies. Personally I would like someone with a good sense of humour and treat a girl like a lady!

Both.
I'm obviously not going to approach a girl for personality, because I won't know that until I talk to her. I'll approach attractive girls. If their personality stinks, though, I won't stick around.
If I get to know a girl that I was introduced to, and she has a great personality, but I don't find her attractive, it would make it difficult to maintain a relationship beyond friendship with her.

It is important to realise that person's look is really matches with what this person is. It is not just my opinion, it is what sciences and studies had approved.
