Most foods that are for "human" consumption, are not recommended for animals. Their systems and metabolism vary from ours. Treating pooches off the table for instance, can cause excess weight gain. Stick to those foods formulated for dogs, or cats. There's a reason they are made differently for their digestive systems.

Raisins are toxic to dogs and cooked poultry bones can kill them also. I had a friend who's dog almost died from eating turkey.
I'd be very careful feeding your dog anything other than her food especially while she's pregnant...It is best to feed her a very good puppy food if she's close to delivery to help build up her milk supply and to give her extra vitamins while feeding her puppies.
I hope it helps.

I know grapes are, and I think that tomatos can make them go blind faster. generally it is better to feed a high quality food, and not the table scraps.
I feed Innova EVO and use de-boned boiled chicken for treats.
I also give chicken and turkey necks (the whole thing) raw and frozen for treats.

There was a news story on my local station just the other day that warned about cherry pits. A ledy's Lab died after eating a bunch of cherries out of the back yard...seems they contain cyanide. Also....grapes and raisins are supposed to be bad.

Onions, grapes, raisins and chocolate are harmful. The darker the chocolate the worse it is. Raw yeast dough is bad too. Also many plants such as (but not limited to) poinsetta, flower bulbs, mistletoe...... Carob is a fine substitute for chocolate. NEVER give chocolate.

grapes are bad for dogs. Stick with a high quality dog food and stay away from food that humans consume for a healthy dog.

Macadamia nuts are very toxic to dogs. So are onions. I don't know about tofu. Call the vet's office and ask them.
