Of course! I mean women have been "cross dressing" since the early 20th century so why cant men wear "womens" clothes? A lot of the fabrics used to make womens clothing also feels very soft and nice against the skin so that's a bonus. I say wear what you like and if you look good in it even better!

I don't understand the excitement of cross-dressing either. You might want to post a question about that on the "psychology" page.

As far as "wearing what you want", I must disagree. If you are male, dressing yourself up as a woman and really MAKING the disguise work (I've seen really bad ones!), it seems to me that you are not "happy" with your body as a man. Why? That seems to me like a rejection, in part, of your natural self, which would indicate some bad self-image or even depression.

Are you happy with what you are? You are a man. There is nothing wrong with being a man. There is nothing wrong with looking male, or dressing like a man, when you are a man!

I think you need to explore the reasons for your cross-dressing, and see if maybe you aren't trying to deal with some emotional need by disguising yourself as a woman. Perhaps you feel rejected by women, or just want female friendship, and can't find it "as a man", IDK. Just think about it, ok?

I think this is perfectly ok. Many people don't, though.
When seeing sth which they are accustomed to consider 'unusual', 'incomprehensible' or 'inappropriate', many people just really can't see it in terms of 'nice' or 'comfortable'. This is more typical for people of the previous generations. When I told my mom that my bf who works as a journalist for a respectable newspaper sometimes goes to work in my pink T-shirt with a colourful necklace I made for him out of paper clips - well, she thought for a moment and then treated me with a broad smile to show me that she understood the joke and appreciated my sense of humour:) She just couldn't imagine that it is possible to dress like that unless you are at home, at a party or on holiday, but definitely not at work.
And she has known him for years and really likes him. She's nice and understanding. It's just that we live in different cities where people do things in quite different ways. What is perfectly acceptable in certain parts of the world may evoke bewilderment or negative reactions in other places. Or they may decide it's some kind of a joke and smile politely...

Straight guy who like to wear women's clothes! here's a new one! Yeah, I guess you can feel free to wear what you like...when there aren't people around. Although you may find it exciting, most women will not go for a guy in a skirt (except kilts! those are sexy!). If it makes you feel better, you can wear lace thongs or something under your usual clothes....
Man, I can't believe I just answered that question!

Definately! You are you. You are not THEM! I go to high school but I wear 'grown up people' type of clothes. I feel good in them. I like the style. It looks good on me. If people have something to say...they should keep it to themselves! Finished.
Sorry girls! I just HAD to answer this!

Of course, yo! I actually know what you're talking about, my best friend's a crossdresser, but not so much, and he doesn't mind wearing skirts at all. In fact, he kept my bra, blouse, and skirt for like... Most of my Sophmore year! >.< ... Haha. xP

you should not care what other people think. if you think that you look good in them and if you enjoy wearing them then you should wear them and you should not have a problem with being who you are.

Yes, I suppose. I just don't want to see you in the locker room. If you are thinking to go that far.
