its hard to cut out ALL protein from your diet cuz non-animal products also have protein.
but not getting enough protein will probably reduce your muscle mass and slow down your metabolism. if you're doing this so that animals wont be killed, you should still consume protein in other forms such as soy.

I'm trying to understand your reasoning. If you're thinking about becoming a vegetarian for a year; that's fine. However, protein is in many other foods besides meat. Peanut butter; beans; soy; dairy; even some vegetables have protein in them, so you can still have protein from non-animal sources.More than likely you would experience achey limbs, have dark circles under your eyes, your hair wouldn't be very soft, your eyes could possibly weaken, and your overall muscle mass would be broken down. Your body would begin breaking down the muscle in trying to get the protein that it needs. The only way to avoid this would be to get injections of vitamin B on a regular basis.its hard to cut out ALL protein from your diet cuz non-animal products also have protein.

The Standard American Diet (SAD) consumes almost 6 times too much protein. By switching to a vegetarian diet, you will be taking a tremendous strain off your kidneys as they do all the processing of the protein.
Good luck!

pls don!!! this will jus pull down your health. actually if you want diet, protein is not a main cause. if you lost protein in your body you will regret because this will make your hair turn white and your skin will be dry and lose of shine. if you want diet, try don eat too much of fried food and rice. just a suitable is ok. trust it. i try it before.

Thats pretty dumb thing to do, but you would have no energy unless you would be taking supplements and your body would start breaking down muscle mass and you would look horrible.....Not recommended to do at all, unless under Dr supervision.
