The world will survive the human civilisation on it. May be some other species will reign the world. Every religion has got some kind of dooms day prediction to make- a second coming, a Kalki avatar etc. Scientifically also, the chances of the man surviving his own folly, feuds, contradictions, and nuclear danger as well as the external threats like meteors raining the earth, global warming etc are really difficult and the threat is more real and immediate than ever before.
Why to break our head, over what what is going to befall on all of us, inevitably.
