Creed books, priests, nuns, instrumental music, worshipping the pope or any other human, worshipping Mary, baptizing babies, etc... Those are not found in the Bible. Indeed, if the Bible is the perfect law of liberty, then why use a creed book? Why keep adding to or taking away from God's Word? Because they wanted things done their own way, so they adopted their own traditions and sanctions. So many of their practices are anything but Biblical. Todays Christians are to use the New Testament. In order to be a true Christian, one born of water, you must follow the steps to salvation: Steps of Salvation
Hear - Rom 10:17
Believe - Heb 11:6
Repent - Acts 2:38
Confession - Matt 10:32-33
Baptism - Mark 16:16
Live faithfully - Revelation 2:10; Romans 5:1-2

Failure to do so, is not being in the Lord's church. You're not a Christian unless you're in the Lord's church. You're not in the Lord's church unless you've been baptized(and baptism is immersion-not sprinkling or pouring).

The reality is, neither, as the word Hell is a translation of the greek word "Hades" or the Hebrew word "Sheol", which refer to the common grave or pit. Ecclesiastes 9:10 states:"There is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol, the place to which you are going". The Bible tells about the hope of the resurrection in the accounts of Lazarus, where Jesus told him to awake and come out of his tomb. He told his disciples that he had died, and with holy spirit from his heavenly Father, Jehovah, he brought him out of Death.John 5:28,29 states"all those in the memorial tombs will hear his (Jesus)voice and come out" There will be some who will have a Heavenly hope, which are the 144000 as in Rev. 14:1, who will be spirit anointed humans to be appointed as Kings and princes to rule God's Kingdom that we pray for every day!the Paradise Earth and to teach all the inhabited Earth of God's will and of True worship. Yes, Jehovah really will defeat our enemy death and it will be gone forever! (Isaiah 25:8)

I HOPE I'm going to Heaven. I am doing my best at obeying his commandments and "rules", I am repenting when needed, (pretty much daily since I'm not perfect) and trying to be like Jesus (which of course I need to work on), but I don't believe I'm going to Hell, either.

The Bible makes it clear that those who follow Jesus will enjoy eternal life, but those who do not will suffer eternal punishment.

Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.
Joh 3:18 Anyone who believes in Him is not judged, but anyone who does not believe is already judged, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

Joh 5:24 "I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.
Joh 5:25 "I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
Joh 5:26 For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.
Joh 5:27 And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.
Joh 5:28 Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice
Joh 5:29 and come out--those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment

I need not go anywhere, since both hell and heaven are here in this world itself. At the moment, I am in the heaven where I would like to continue, unless I, by my choice and misdeeds convert my life into a hell.

Lying
Thief
Adulterer
(a sinner)
but had all these things erased when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior...and for those in hell...enjoy:
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.....(maybe some rock bands in the background)
