If its breaded and cooked correctly, I love vinegar because it enhances the flavor. However, I like tartar sauce when the fish is too greasy or the batter is bland.

vinegar, or a squeeze of lemon.
cocktail sauce is the worst. tartare is ok but acid gets the job done.
