I haven't yet understand this fact why guys are like that. If we girls are satisfied with only one partner, why can't it be the same for guys as well. But it's also true that all guys are not alike. Some are satisfied with only one partner but it's very rare to find such a person.

Gals often think about having sex with more than one gal. Here is an answer you won't want to hear but here goes - - - America and increasingly The World hew to a Christian attitude that suggests that Men can have multiple partners but that a woman with more than one mate is a *****. Have you ever listened to a Leno monologue? Any actress dating more than one man in a lifetime is a ***** - - - Guys get criticized but since they are expected to be weak it is sort of allowed - - - but not women - - - even when a show such as Sex in the City hints that it is o-k for women to have more than one life mate, there is usually something flawed about the character. So a lot of women hide the fact that the might have 'other interests.' They disdain any hint of being o-k with anything other than monogamy. Also most women are aware then Men's egos are too fragile. That if they admit to ever having had another boyfriend and 'that' happening, that they are likely to get belted in the mouth and called a ***** or a ****. What do you want Women to do - - - have sex openly several times a day with multiple partners? No way - - - a Christian mob would be formed in minutes and in the name of Jesus the harlot would be stoned. Peace.

I think that it is the animal part of us. Bucks try to have sex with as many does as possible, the same with a bull and cows. With animals, the strongest and healthiest males impregnate the most females and their genes get passed on to the next generation. It's a good system with animals.
As humans, there is an animal part of us and a spiritual side to us.We have to use discipline to curb some of our animal instincts. Both Christianity, Judaism, and the culture used to teach that we need to have our spiritual nature dominate our animal nature. Unfortunately, many Christian churches and the culture don't teach that any more.
So what we have is people doing what comes naturally, they act like animals. It's too bad because human children need to have both parents stick around and love each other for 20 years or so until they can become healthy fully functional adults.

Social Answer - It is more socially acceptable for males to have more than one partner. Whereas this might make a guy seen as a "stud" or "player", girls get much less appealing labels.
Biological Answer - The chemical responsible for sexual arousal is testosterone. Girls and guys both produce a particular level of this during arrousal, however, guys always have a much higher testosterone level, making it alot easier for a male to become physically aroused.

I think it has a lot to do with survival of the fittest and a need to procreate. Now don't get me wrong, I am not condoning this action, but I do think there is some truth to it being not really human nature for a male to be with one woman. While a female seeks stability, love and all that other fluffy stuff.

It all stems back to us as cavemen, it is in our genes to mate & have babys with as many females as possible, so we can prove our masculinity to other males that we our the dominant/alpha male & strongest in our tribe, (monkeys & apes still do it today) it's just a reflection of what we use to be!

No- I don't agree. One person only, I'm not religious or even particularly traditional but I don't see the attraction of multiple partners, cheating, hurtful little games etc etc
