Doing it yourself is pretty hard. Especially using a lightener. Color is different, as long as you apply it evenly and time it properly its hard to mess up. Color stops processing, and lightener however doesnt. It is VERY easy to overprocess/hydrolize your hair with lightener so be extremely careful if you do it yourself. Also, keep it off your scalp because lightener burns & you will probably get "hot roots"
If you couldnt tell already, I am a cosmetologist :). Be careful and follow the directions. Maybe before you do it, call around to some salons and see what they charge for a partial highlight. It's just highlights through the top and should be signifigantly cheaper than all over. Good luck!

I like the L'Oreal 2 in 1 kit. It has one color for all over and then a highlighting one to go over the top. It was easy to use and the whole thing takes like 45 minutes only. It looks just like the salon did it.

it rather is actual as i've got been professing for the previous couple of weeks that tint won't lighten tint. yet by using fact you do not desire to pass actual easy you do not ought to bleach the hair very a lot. in simple terms easy sufficient to coach a brown tint to take. the biggest factor to bear in mind is to not pass a dismal brown as tint is going darker than envisioned, noticeably by using fact your hair would be particularly porous. you need to use a lighter brown and alway darken it, yet you will not desire to get it too darkish and could lighten it back. the superb and healthiest thank you to pass is have it completed professionally. they may be able to get it to the superb suited quantity of lightness, and could use high quality products, to not point out they have the certainty.....make confident the stylist doing it has journey and is time-honored with of this technique, as all have not had a lot journey in this. I usually propose possibly a tint remover, yet you have a lot develop of shade that it may be extra durable to handle......you have probable been utilizing tint over tint inflicting a lot of injury on your hair.....the superb thank you to do roots is do precisely the roots, and provided that something of the hair needs refreshening could you run it via for 5 or 10 minutes on the top.....discover somebody who can see your hair and assist you're making the superb suited determination for you. interior the long-term that's going to be properly worth it to have it back to wide-spread and interior the superb achieveable situation.
