It sounds like you may not be eating right or possibly breaking your hair off. First, eat plenty of protein, fresh fruit and vegetable and take a vitamin. When you wash your hair, you only have to soap it up once, but rinse very well. Don't rub your hair with a towel, but squeeze it gently. You need to buy a shampoo and conditioner for damaged and dry hair right now. Buy a wide tooth comb and gently comb out your hair starting from the bottom and working up so you don't break it off. Dry on a lower setting. If you are in the sun alot or swim then rinse your hair after swimming. Don't bleach it anymore if you do. Trim just the ends a little every month. Rinse with vinegar and water every week. Don't worry about it because it will grow back. It is very temporary. Also hot rollers can break it off, so don't use them too much or put a gel and then hot rollers. You might want to have your thyroid checked just to rule that out and tell your doctor. It is easily treated, but your hair can fall out so it is best to check that out first to be safe.

Have you changed your diet right before this started happening, and currently are eating that same diet? Sometimes if you don't get the proper vitamins and minerals that your body needs you can lose hair.

As well, have you been on meds? Sometimes medications can do this. What about stress? I actually had a friend who lost their hair in large chunks (and I mean LARGE) from stress.

I've also found that dying my hair, and getting a perm, or any other chemical treatment makes my hair VERY susceptible to breaking right off.
I think the best thing to do would be to see your family doctor because they'll have some really good ideas to help you out. Good luck!

See a skin specialist (Dermatologist).

I can recommend Minoxidil 2% topical solution to be applied on the scalp.

Anaemia (lack of iron in blood) can also cause hair fall
