Watched a program on tv monday night where a young musser inferred that Allah provided things in his life such as benefits and a full education.

Do you think this is true, that god provided this to him?

The way I look at it, is that there are millions of tax payers, but no god / allah (whatever you want to call it). So that would mean the tax payers must be the providers then, mustn't it?

assuming that god/allah/whatever exists and provides for us, he doesn't jus send food/ money down from the heavens (except when the israelites were fleeing egypt)
he made us so there would be a benefits system/whatever

Education in this country, trades unions, the NHS and so on were created from Christian principles. As is the concept of those that have helping those that do not. So, I guess he is right, in a way. God the Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ provides.

God provides in a spiritual sense- but the government do provide things for us materialy. This is mentioned in the bible, if we pay our taxes we recieve the benifits (ish).

In todays world I feel it is hard to say god that has provided anything. Taxes are so dominant in society that you have to say that they provide mostly everything.

God provides through different sources, whether it be through the lottery, the british taxpayer or giving you the energy to work.
