I am not sure, but if they are growing up together, I think it would be better than 2 different ages of cats. We used to have 2 cats, of different ages, and they only tolerated each other. Now, we have 2 brothers from an abandon litter, and they are so playful together. I hate to discourage you from taking the offered ones, but I can say that taking 2 kittens from the same litter was an excellent move. They sleep together, clean each other, and play together. Can you try the 2 kittens together for a few hours before committing to taking them. Maybe they will get on straight away! Good luck!

Hi - you should be fine. Kittens just want to play and have fun. If there is another cat or a kitten around to have fun with then so much the better! I currently have a kitten with two older cats and they all get on brilliantly. Its great fun watching them play etc. They race around the house like crazy - even the 13 year old. Strangely enough I also have the kittens mother and they do not get on at all - well the mother doesn't want to know the kitten anymore anyway!
So I would definitely go for it - they will be great company for each other and for you!

Hi there i breed kittens from time to time, and there is no problem mixing litters, i had the situation once where we had two litters at the same time and the mum of one did not want to know her babies when they hit 4 weeks old, so the other unrelated mum took over and all the 8 kittens played happily together. At the moment i have put my 7 week old kittens from two litters together and they are playing more than well together. good luck with them and arnt they cute :-)

Hi yes they will get on as they will grow up together, i think it only matters if you bring a new cat into your home when you have an older cat that isnt a kitten, as it will need time to get used to the kitten. You will be fine with both kittens as they will keep each other company, they will play fight with each other and suggle up toghether. i have two kittens and they are lost when they can find one another they cry for the other one its really sweet, but watch out when they play fight you house will get destroyed, and it will be full of cat fur,

yes, they will get along just fine. I always suggest getting kittens from different litters, as that way they will bond with you. When you get littermates, it's great because you only have to have one tested for feline leukemia - but they have already bonded with each other, and will not necessarily bond with the new owner. Make sure you get one at least a few days before the other, and have it tested for feline leukemia and vaccinated, then do the same with the other when it arrives.

We decided to get our two year old cat a companion (kitten). Both cats were, at first, dubious of each other but within days they were ok being in the same room, within weeks they were eating and playing together and now after two years they are inseparable. I suppose if you are getting two kittens they would bond much quicker as they wont feel their territory is being threatened.

Hi,
Not a problem. Cats are not like humans, they will mix around regardless of breed, age and sizes. Maybe a bit hostile at the beginning, but within a couple of day, just look and see, they will be the best of friends. I loved that cute moments where they are still small, cute and cuddly and its so fun to play with as they are very active at young age.

i have 6 cats aged from 2 yrs to 3 months from 4 seperate non related litters. they all get on fine, just make sure they each have a safe place to escape the other till they get to know each other but they should be fine as they are so young.

This should be fine, I've done it many times.
Here are some tips:
If possible, allow them to bond (without human intervention) for 12-24 hours in a large space
Try not to spoil or favour one over the other
If you get males, desex them or they will fight
Don't intervene if they fight at first, let them be, this is an important process!!
