Theres a really cute girl that always plays volleyball while I play basketball at the gym. The volleyball court and basketball courts are right next to each other. Is it appropriate to check her out or even ask her out because you're not supposed to check people out at the gym. If I do ask her out, how would I do it considering that she does not even know me?

As a woman, I appreciate men who are straight-forward and don't play games. Look at it this way: if you go to the same gym, you probably have similar interests. Just say hi to her, tell her you noticed her and you think she's beautiful, and ask her out. You don't have anything to lose. You don't have a girlfriend now - ask, and you'll either end up with one or you'll still be single. Better to try than to regret never knowing.

dont just secretly look at her, she might think you are some kind of maniac. If you really like this girl, watch her play the game and praise her when she's done. Then, asked her if she's interested to be friend since both of you are into sports. Be friend first, because you might scare her away if you ask her out the first time you guys talk.

well if she has not even noticed you... i would not start by asking her out. just bump into her and say hello, and say something like your a really good volley ball player.... spend a week or two talking at the gym. you never know she could be married or in a relationship. play it cool until you know all the details OK....
or do you have a sister... have your sister join the volley ball team and do get the scoop for you.

Try starting a converstation with her and take it from there. Ask her if she'd like to meet for coffee or something. She may already be with someone. Then again, she may not. That's what you have to find out. Have fun, dear!

thts so sweet =D talk to her when u see her, its normal, so juz do it, talk to her more, if shes not tht shy, u can juz ask her out, n if she is, juz keep on talkin to her but not like borin stuff n not too much, n when u think its the right time, n u both get to each other pretty well, ask her out

walk up to her, introduce yourself, and start a casual conversation. be confident and always give her ye contact. keep the conversation flowing and casually ask her if she would like to go to the movies, or to dinner, etc. remember to treat her with respect and listen to her. good luck :)
