special ordered my 07 mustang gt. i'm going to have 10 inch very dark metallic red stripes put on it. should i match the interior plastic console pieces at the same time to get a custom look. the car is the new alloy metallic. it's a very dark grey/silver.

Done properly the custom color interior plastic look us cool. Are you as old as I, 50+ it doesn't matter. Paint that isn't properly done chips off and flakes off and looks horriable in a short time. All that interior paint won't make that Mustang go faster. When I pull up along side with my 2006 GTO. Spend money where you get the biggest bang. Cold air Intake, Short throw shifter, Cat back exhaust, sway bars, And if you start going fast bigger brakes.

If you are silly enough to waste money on ugly "racing stripes", you might as well piss away more money on the plastic garbage for the interior.

This question is pointless. You are the person who is going to spend the most time in the interior of the car, so do what ever you want.
