My 2 nieces (aged 5 & 6) are growing their fringes out. I have seen lots of little girls with their fringes canerowed back about 2-3 inches. Anyone know of hairdressers in London that can specialise in canerowing haie that is NOT afro?

Any afro-specialist hairdressers in London will be able to do this, as although the texture of the hair is not the same, the technique used is - this is a great idea, but will not last so long on straight hair, as strays will come out long before the hair grows - you should only expect it to last 1-2 weeks.

you could always try to do cornrows yourself. there are loads of great sites out there. if you do them tightly and use hair products (a little hairspray or gel etc), they should stay in place for a while, plus im sure your nieces would prefer someone they know to fiddle with their hair.

Any good hair-dresser will be able to do this. Hair-dressers study the science of all hair types ; any good hair-dresser , white or black , once they are properly trained can do this simple task of corn-rowing Caucasian hair.

if they can do Afro they can do white, hair is hair, it the technique not the color.
