Yes, of course. Connecting with God is exclusive of smoking. God does not judge you as much as you judge yourself. S/He loves you for who you are and connecting with God will help you feel better about yourself and overcome the things you struggle with.

Are you talking about literally praying and smoking or wanting to kick the habit and in the meantime you pray about it?? Well??...lol I would try to re frame from actually smoking while praying, because I think that is the one time you should be most honest and sincere. On the other hand, if you truly want to quit smoking, ask him to help you and he will as he has many others. The Lord knows your limit and what you can handle, he wouldn't allow you to quit smoking only for you to relapse He is very merciful and will work with you as long as you work with him. I hope this helps??
Be Blessed!!

I ask you! Is it ok to smoke at all? Depending on what you are smoking as well, the bible says God gave us all seed bearing plants, I smoke cannabis to act as an anti-inflammatory, and pain relief from a car accident. You will get super spiritual people that will tell you its not ok but for the right purposes it is. Tobbacco is a bit different, why would you want to smoke while in prayer, God tells us to be continually praying, to Him for others for forgivness, for whatever reason. Maybe you could set aside a certain time for special time alone with God and specifically not smoke for that time. I hope this answers your question.

I used to pray and smoke. I used to think it was a good time to pray as well. But the truth is that if you are addicted to anything other than Christ, you will not ever reach your full potential in Him. If you want to grow strong in Him, the answer is simple, quit.

Bible states we should not destroy the body which the temple of the Holy Ghost. So smoking is wrong. We are allowing satan to destroy us by smoking. But if there is a need we can pray at any time. Our Loving LORD will hear us, because he loves us. But that doesn't mean you can go on with your habits and ask GOD to save you - the pattern and your attitude toward GOD counts.

It is always Okay to pray. However, smoking is disrespectful to the body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Stop smoking because it is bad for your health and may destroy your life, which is a gift from God.

YES, as long as you DISTANCE yourself from the one PRAYING, maybe far enough not to annoy or disturb the one praying. But never, never do that inside a church or mosque when mass is ongoing.

I didn't get your question VERY RIGHT the first time since I don't believe anybody could do as such. NEVER PRAY AND SMOKE ALL AT THE SAME TIME except, the prayer is intended to satan.

Heck yea - - - nothing in The Bible prohibits smoking. Despite what Christians think Jesus did not stand on The Mount and lecture the crowd against smoking pot & fornicating - - - and if your religion is anything other than Christian / Muslim / Jew then you might smoke to pray ... Native Americans herbed up to talk to God as did many & still do plus people across the Globe. Smoking is intertwined into the fabric of human kind. Not simply tobacco - - - smoking has often been thought to be of value when meditating - - - thinking - - - getting touch internall and externally to God or Goddess. Light up - - - God will not heave a lightning bolt at ya. Peace.
