Does England, as a predominently christian society, take the first steps to rehoming the muslim population back to a muslim country?
As shown on tv recently, a large part of the UK muslim society disagrees with western (christian) morals , ethics and politics. Some, not all, would like to live under sheer(?) rule.
Over 45% agreed that their methods, namely suicide bombers, were the correct and suitable .
It was agreed that the muslim population has stopped its intigration in the UK and now, actively and out of choice, regards segregation as the only way forward.
Can we allow an extemist religion to remain, unchecked by even their own leaders, to stay in a country that it sees as a target for its regime of anti western crime? And that by its own admission, doesnt want to be a part of anyway.
Are we so different in everything we do and believe in that we cannot live together?
If a westerner goes to an islamic country, he or she is expected to respect the rules,

To cover up and not drink alcohol for instance. So why do we allow muslims to carry on the way we do? Is it acceptable to wear a mask in public? Or speak a foreign language in our schools?
Is it fair that a MINORITY is treated like the majority, and the majority is ignored?
I am not a christian but I am a westerner and feel that its time to make a big change. We dont need to start a war either. We need to avert one, and the ONLY way is to respect our cultural and religious differences and NOT live side by side.
I do not advocate the use of violence and terror to achieve these goals.

Just to set the record straight. I am not an extremist and do not hold with any form of oppression of any kind.
Let me re ask the question in a different form.
If you had a group of lions and a group of tigers , would you put them in a cage together, or would you, inteligently, keep them apart? They are both cats.. yes?
They both eat meat, yes?
Then why not let them live together?
Because they BOTH think they're king of the beasts.........

England is not a predominantly christian society... most people have no religious belief and do not practise any religion.
Whereabouts in England do you live? The image of muslims you are giving is completely wrong as a whole. I live in London and have many close muslim friends, and I am a very strong atheist.
Those who preach intolerance are, of course, right out of order... but threatening to deport everybody who belongs to those peoples' religions is ridiculous and deeply unfair.

A small handful of people are to blame for such atrocities. Not the entire muslim population of Britain. There are two sides to every story... Innocent towns in muslim countries get bombed every day (wiping out entire families and areas). So their view on western oppression is probably akin to our view on suicide bombers. In their eyes how can we justify sending highly sophisticated aircraft to do an indiscriminate air strike on villages, schools and hospitals. But becuase these don't make the headlines we think of ourselves as being good.
The religion isn't extremist, its people who become extremist and you have them in every religion, there are even weirdo psyco atheists.
They do abide by our rules, if they don't they are subject to the laws and prosecutions as everyone else is. Just like if a westerner went to their country and flouted the law.
I do believe integration, not segregation is the answer. Terrorist activities are wrong and can never really be justified. But also think that to them, we also comit terrorist attrocites. I hope this doesn't turn into an endless cycle like with the Israelis and Palestinians...." you killed my dad" - "well you bombed my village" and then the hatred spirals.
Peace out everyone!

"If a westerner goes to an islamic country, he or she is expected to respect the rules"
Is that because westerners are so respectful of other cultures? Or is it because they don't want to be kidnapped and killed? In Afghanistan where we're now in charge lots of westerners are working to make it more like the US and UK.
Both Muslims and Christians will continue to try to take over the world for some time to come. They can't go home and leave each other alone because they both have the One Right Way that all people should live.

Islamic Extremism is like a Virus invading the entire Islamic Religion. It's spreading throughout its body. Moderate Muslims are becoming more and more accepting of the Extremists methods.
When was the last time you heard major Muslim leaders condemning such plots and attacks?
I hear silence....

I understand and share your concern for religious freedom and immigration policies of the West toward extremist groups who make their intentions to carry out suicidal bombings and crimes against nations of the West public. A friend of someone close who lived in Saudi Arabia stated in a letter years ago "that country expects everyone living there to respect their rules, which for females are very stringent and demanding". I did not like the sound of any of it. She has never been heard from anymore by letter since her last letter came in 1978.

You've opened a can of worms there! No, they chose to come here so it's not our responsibility to rehome them, and of course a very dim view would be taken of the government if they announced they wanted to deport all muslims suddenly! If they cannot integrate with us then they should leave. It is not our responsibility to change our lifestyles and culture to fit in and accomodate immigrants or non-christian religions. The infamous saying, When in Rome, do as the Romans do!

You say predominantly christian, but there are more muslims going to friday prayers than christians from the church of england going to sunday mass. England is predominantly agnostic or atheist, not christian. And to say 45 percent think suicide bombing is correct is nonsense. But, the kind of attitude you hold is growing all the time, egged on by provocative shows like the one on monday, so that pretty soon there will be violent hate crime against muslims in the street. I am already seeing that it will not be safe to live here in a few years, no way i can protect my family with people like you about stirring it up

I don't think any country should be ruled by religion and that includes christianity, but the facts are what they are. If they are not happy living in a country under that countries laws they are more then welcome to go to a different one I am sure. Would several hundred miles be enough segregation for them?
They can't change another country backwards to serve their desires. You can't revoke their citizenship and send them to a muslim country just because they aren't christian.

Those Muslims who want to be here, and be part of British society need to rally against those who don't. If we don't see that then they are all targets of terror fear etc. They complain that they are labelled etc. but I'm certain that if all those who knew of terror planning came forward we'd beat it, and those who want to live here in peace could.
Our intelligence needs to target those members of the Muslim community who want to stop terror and encourage them to help. Those who don't are as bad as the terrorists themselves - it's like witnessing a murder but hiding from the police.
