Hey Im 14, Its my 1st Day of high School next week. hmmm Im a pretty avrage girl with a wild side =] But I have no Idea what to expect an to also expect out of myself. Like how im gonna turn out. My two best friend in Middle school I doubt I will talk to them. Because one of them her parents work there an Shes gonna be a goody good. An my other friend is in Colorgard which is soo not me. An I have pretty cool Friends. were not nerdy or anything. But today was regrestration an I had to goo to school. An I talked to a lot of my guy friends that are older. i think my friend got jealous. an plus she had to do her colorgard in front of everyone. An she gets mad cuz "my" peeps make fun of her. So I seriously Dont know what to expect in high school. Im im sooo Nervous!

Expect more homework, slightly more strict teachers and faculty, better school functions, school dances at night (if all you're used to is dances that take place during school hours), lots of fun, and memories to last you a lifetime. Freshman year shouldn't be a whole lot different than 8th grade. It wasn't for me anyway. I started my freshman year having lots of friends and not being nervous because I knew I wouldn't be alone. So, freshman year wasn't much different than 8th grade for me, but it was definitely more fun.

I have to agree with Chloe. The upper-classmen all think they're "cool" and they KNOW that lower classmen definitely AREN'T "cool".
So don't worry about it. Be the same person you were 4 months ago in Middle School. Listen to the teachers, talk with your friends in the hall, do everything the same.
High School is NOT like what they show on T.V. Far from it. Jocks don't throw young nerds up aginst their locker & take their wallet, or anything like that.
Good luck, do your homework, stay safe & make good choices (i.e. Don't give into peer presure), and HAVE FUN!
