Gold leaf is found in most art stores, but it is quite expensive. (You can check on-line as well!) If you find imitation gold leaf, this is good too. Be sure to use rabbit skin glue for the application to the canvas. I know this sound a lil' funky, but it's the type of glue that has been used for 1000+ years for Icon works. So if you can't afford the real leaf, at least you can use the real glue and proper technique. Good luck!!
