Now is the time to play the field. You have plenty of time to settle down to one girl. If you don't sow your wild oats now, you will do it later in life and hurt someone who loves you.

No it is not wrong as long as you are honest about it. Be up front and let them know you are not looking for a girlfriend. You are not at a point in your life where you are ready for a serious commitment. Plain and simple, just like that. In return for your lovely freedom make sure you do not lead anyone on; tell them you love them, make promises you don't intend to keep, talk about the future.
