I have some countdown timers on my laptop but that's about all I use. Anything would be great .. thanks!

Here is a link to a really good personal planner/organizer/calendar. Of particular interest is the "project" feature on it. You can outline the steps in a project, the timeline you want to do it in, etc.
I think it's great.

Shareware, fully featured, and only $20 if you decide it's worth buying.

Try doing a search for "Daily Planner" or go out and buy one, that should help keep your life more balanced and it would increase the effectiveness and efficiencies of your time management.

Take a class on "Daytimers" or "Dayrunner"- they're not cheap- the books run around 60 bucks for the good set but they do work if you do your part
