They usually don't because the bobbing of the head is a courtship ritual when the male is trying to get a girlfriend =]. The bobbing also may mean regurgitation which males only do to females but females do to nestlings. So i would say chances are they won't. But you never know because bobbing their head can also be a way of beggin for food.

It's usually they males that bob their heads, as the others have said. The females may do it occasionally..I have a female that does but generally speaking, yeah it's the males.

My male maccaw does that. My vet told me that the bird is showing he likes me because this is how they feed their young.

I have never noticed mine do it, but she "kisses" my male. Well, actaulyl it looks like she's trying to bite his tongue off, but he doesn't mind.
