My ex of 10 mths dumped me, broke my heart, he wasn't in love with me any more etc... By chance one of his good friends that he plays poker w/ answered an anonymous personals ad I had put up by a weird stroke of luck. We had all known eachother from theater, and I had infact kind of talked and flirted with the friend before I was even interested in my ex... nothing happened though.... he isn't a stranger and I didn't meet him through my ex. We talked a lil bit.. and he revealed that he had wanted to ask me out before my ex had. Its been about 5 months since the break up and i no longer associate with the ex by his choice ( he wanted us to go our own seperate ways). His friend seems okay with it.. and we set a no pressure date for friday... I'm a bit leery... if its wrong.... a no no.. bad taste or what... It was a weird twist of fate that of all ads he answered mine. We decided not to mention anything to the ex unless something big happens.. but HELP!!!!btw... my ex has few close frie

Actually its the responsibility of the close friend to tell ur ex because u are no longer associated with him. If he decides not to, then use ur better judgement and decide where this guy's loyalties lies. If he will do that to his "close friend" then what will do with u when "something Big" happens?

Well depends how old you are firstly I guess. If you are still young, then whats the rush. But i think that if he dumped you and there was some kinda connection between you and the new guy before, then why not - the ex's loss. On the other hand, there is the whole 'unspoken rule' to not date your friend's ex's. Sound like your ex might be a bit of a jerk anyway, so why not I spose.

You should go out him, show him the precious he used to have and have loss. Build up your confident, let him know u live LARGER THAN LIVE after he broke with you. Try also seduce him, make him eager for your coming back, torture him with ur " nice nice attitude " but remember only seduce and not accepting his apology....

girl you cant spend your life worrying about what other people want, or what they think.. you just need to do what you want to do and be happy because you only got one life to live so you need to make the best out of it while you have it girl. who cares if your ex gets mad its his fault youre not speaking anymore, who needs somebody like that tellin you what to do. honestly, just do whatever makes you feel good hun.

i think you should. your ex broke up with you. and he hurt you. he doesn't seem to really want to talk to you. and its not your fault you and his friend are interested in each-other right?
