Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Lennon was a one of a kind.

It's hard to believe that someone as
peace loving as Lennon was assasinated.

Do you know that he was so controvercial
and misunderstood and threathening to
our government that they were in the process
of trying to deport him? What a joke!

Thanks for helping to keep his candle lit and
share his message to generations to come.

Alas, there are people who can not imagine this, and feel that they need some guy in the sky to order them about. I see some of these sad inadequates have posted answers. Did you read about the School in Devon than banned it's kids from singing this song, because it implied that maybe peace and happiness were independent of religion? (Daft idea, I mean, look what a perfect world religion has given us!) You can check the story out here;

A beautiful song by Beatle, John Lennon. Sadly, he was assassinated shortly after this came out.

Super song !

Made my hair stand still when I first heard it !

From that day on, I want the world to be one as badly as anyone else would !

It is a must to stop war and spread love among humans !
