Do you actually have a question, or are you here to preach?
In my opinion: If Jesus actually did exist, then he was probably a philosipher and teacher who became idolized by his followers. I think that a lot of stories from many common myths got tagged on to him years after his death, and that a lot of people tried to fit him into the shoes of the Jewish Messiah.
Except that he didn't. There is a very specific list of things that are supposed to be characteristics of the Jewish Messiah. Jesus doesn't fill half of them.

I thought Jewish people didn't believe that Jesus is the Messiah? Wouldn't that just make you a regular Christian now?
Well Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Just haven't figured out yet how to page him.

I'm very happy for you as it is very difficult for most Jewish people to convert to Christianity - but you have made the angels sing as one has been saved! I too am a Christian, even though not a Jew of nationality. Jesus is the only begotten son of God, who died for my sins before I was, who knew me by name and knew that even though I would never find myself worthy of what He did, He found me worthy - and I accept that - he is the strength that carries me through every moment of every day - the way, the truth, and the life that leads my paths, he is the fulfillment of all the longings my soul has ever desired, and in him I have peace that passes all reasonable understanding, faith, hope, charity, compassion, and the gift of encouragement as he has seen fit to bestow it upon me. He is everything to me - and as much as I would lay my life down for him, I know it is far greater that I live and serve for him that others might come to have their souls filled with the joyous, glorious Holy Spirit.

David,
You are a christian. Stop this evil and deceptive form of missionizing. It degrades christianity.

on the side, how can it be "jewish" to believe in jesus. "Jewish" is, by defintion, what jews have historically and contemporarily believe. Since in neither scenario do we find "believing in jesus", then we must clearly realize that belief in jesus is not something "jewish". You can call it "biblical" (and still be wrong), but certainly not "jewish".

I noticed that there are much, much more people on yahoo answers who are desperately trying to deny existence of God than those who actually try to defend their religious stand. Here’s my opinion:
People simply love to worship things instead of being free like the birds.
Something changed in the year of 175 because since that year they stopped killing Christians. Priests at that time hid some facts from people in order to please authorities hungry for ruling and to put themselves in better material position. Jesus said that only those whose heart is not hardened in sin can understand, meaning only those who don’t look at the world via material prism can understand this faith. De Vinci’s Code is work of a pure atheist who is thinking purely materialistically but who gave some correct points about the Church. Real Christians are not wearing long shiny dresses and golden Crosses. They live among us as modest, common citizens; those that you meet once in life but you memorize them immediately because something about them is so pleasant and kind. They are those that are happily whistling in a large queue at the supermarket or patiently wait for you to move your car without pointing the finger because they have peace and they are free of all obsessions and they enjoy in every minute without any fears because they discovered God. 10 commandments are for our sake, not for the sake of somebody who felt powerful when bringing them. If someone doesn’t understand this faith, he should look in his heart and see if he is actually a good person. It is not possible to buy the stairways to heaven or to cash out for your sins. Tell me if it’s easy to refuse a well paid job over a small time business that gives you opportunity to watch your children grow and have enough money only for basic standards. Many of our fathers did. That is why I’m happy and don’t need drugs. If some one is not strong enough to take the path of Christianity he should think again when he wants to judge others who are.

60. "Now the birth of Jesus Christ was this wise: When as his mother Mary espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost…..behold the angel of the lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto the Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost." (1:18:20)
C. ~ No educated man can ever believe in such things as are oppose to all kinds of evidence (such as direct Cognition. Inference, etc.) and to the laws of nature. Only people in a state of barbarism can believe them. It does not become educated and civilized men to do so. Breathes there a man who could violate the laws of God? Should anyone succeed in subverting His law, no one will ever obey His commandments, nor would God Himself break His own laws as He is Omniscient and infallible.
If this story of the birth of the Christ were held to be true, an unmarried girl that happens to conceive could say that she was with child of the Holy Ghost. She could also falsely say that the angel of the Lord told her in a dream "that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost"! This story is as possible as that recorded in the Puraanas about Kunti being conceived of the Sun. only those who have 'more money than brains' can believe in such things and fall an easy prey to superstition. It must have happened like this that Mary co-habited with someone and thereby became enceinte. She or someone else gave out (such an impossible thing) that she had conceived of the Holy Ghost.
