ok, i have time to decide, but lately my future has been a big part of everything going on, and ive realized that i need to start really looking into things for college and stuff. i am really interested in journalism, however the work is long and hard, and the pay is little, and considering that i want to raise a family, it is not the ideal job for me(odd hours, competitive field, always busy). are there any other majors or jobs i could look into that would be fairly similar to journalism? i was thinking broadcast, but i really enjoy writing too, so soemthing of that sort. please give details and descriptions. thank you!!!

Stick with Journalism, or plain old English, the subjects are broad ranged, and you can change after the first year or so if you realize this is not what you wanted.Maybe International Affairs..sounds hard to me.But,actually would rather those than Biology or Chemistry major.

Go undeclared. If youre not dead set on a major. Go undeclared. Every college advisor will tell you this because its true. more than 70% of students change their majors, so its kind of silly to start on a track when youre not 100% about it. It will just waste your time and money.

Go undeclared and see what you like, and usually a college will have a carreer center that you can go talk to. They would know far better than anyone on here.
