There is a lot of flouride in the water in Europe because the water for drinking/washing is not very clean. This is bad for Asian hair because all the flouride/chemicals stick to your hair (Asian hair is thicker than Caucasian hair). So its true its not good for your hair to wash daily, but then again, would you rather have smelly hair or dry hair?

Only if you have a certain hair type is when you shouldn't wash your hair everyday. I wash daily and my hair is in great shape! It's the product you use also. If you buy the cheap shampoo, it's not going to give you moisturized hair. Try some Matrix products or some found in a nice salon. Remember: You get what you pay for. good luck

They're right, you shouldn't wash your hair daily, it dries it out. Try washing your hair every other day, if you can go longer than that without washing then go ahead. CHemicals in shampoos can dry the hair out if used too often, also using products that contain alcohol in them will also dry your hair out, check the lables before you buy things like gel, hair spray, & mousses.

It could have been from the amount of moisture in the air compared to where you had been before. A person i know has hair that curls better in the dryer air. Whenever we go somewhere humid or with more moisture in the air, it goes a lot flatter and stuff. Maybe England was dryer than where you were used to for your hair to get dryer.
