Oh wow. You're probably going to get some interesting answers for this!! I'm 17. I have yet to have a serious relationship. I started dating when I was 15..but I've only been on a handful of dates. Its just not my time yet. These guys at my high school are too immature. I'm looking for something more than playing video games at his house. You kno what I mean? I don't think there is any specific "right age". Its an individual choice that is often influenced by parents, rebellion, social status, peers... I think college is when you should have your first serious boyfriend. I keep hearing about these fourteen year olds meeting the love of their lives and i'm like "please! are you serious?"..

16 or 17.
not to say you cant go out on group dates, but to actually get into a relationship, 16 or 17 is the time when you're more in tune with your emotions and are more capable of handling all the problems that comes with a relationship.

16 is what I hear* but it depends on the maturity of the person and what their idea of dating is! I remember in middle school most people thought dating was a girl liking a guy and they holding hands and going to a movie or something-very harmless

there really isnt a set age...
but just know that when you feel like you are ready and comfortable to have a relationship with someone...then you know that you are at the right age to start dating.
just make sure you are careful about certain things.

This question has a lot of answers...
Some people think 11 is too young, but others think it's a good start.
I personally think that around 16 is the best time...
