When I visited Bangkok, I wasn't bored one minute. If you are a resident, pretend you are a tourist. See the temples, the palace, the art museum. Go to the markets, take a boat ride, find a new and interesting place to eat. Boredom is a state of mind; explore your world and find out why millions of people come to visit your city. Get some freebie tourist info at a hotel, and have a great time!

Ha....there is so much to see in Bangkok, but the noise, rush, traffic, smell and the hot weather will do that you after 2 days will away from the City. Try visit Chinatown, PatPong in the nighttime, Phratunang weekend market, golden palace etc. Also a good long walk at Sukhumvit Rd is good and funny. You will see things you never see before.

For something strange, different and out of this world try visiting the Museum of Death. It is actually located in a Hospital in Bangkok. Eye opener!

if you are tourist, then there're lot of places to visit and entertain yourself, but if you are thai and getting bored of your daily life, I'd recommend you to go to nice temple and try practicing meditation.
if you are thai, and are buddhist, I'd recommend you to read some Dhamma books (available free of charge at many temples) and try practicing meditation. Your life will be changed.. live up your day and enjoy. Life is too short.

Siam Paragon. There is a HUGE bookstore there, but if you do not feel like reading, you can always do something else in there.
