For those of you with Tourette's Syndrome or for those who have loved ones with it......does light flicker (computer, tv, movies) make the tics worse? I am asking for my son. His tics seem to flare up more when he plays games on the computer.

Thanks.

Thanks.

I would believe that any flashing lights do affect anyone with a seizure or a neurological disorder. When I was young, I loved strobe lights; now they make me feel nauseated and very uncomfortable. I have a neurological disorder.

And my friend who has had type II diabetes since age 11 can't be around these lights flashing either. He has had seizures from low blood suger and says the lights make him feel like he could have a seizure.

And epileptics all can't be around these lights or they will trigger seizures.. I would limit your son's exposure to these games.
