Muslim women may actually be treated with more deference and respect than many Christian women? Seriously, they dress as they believe, they do not feel the need to flaunt their bodies, they can at least expect to be financially suppported by their husbands. We Christians do not need to be exactly like Muslims but I believe we can learn much from them and their piety. What are your feeligns?

I agree, but I still think there's a lot of dogma associated with any specifically organized religion. I have a great deal of respect for Muslims. I have often thought that if I were to get married to a Muslim man, even if he didn't request for me to do so, I would convert. That's just sort of a passing fancy though. I think Muslim women are very commonly referred to as repressed, and in some countries and settings they are, but for the most part I think it's like you say. They are modest and reserved and I have a lot of reverence for that.

I am a Muslim woman and we are treated very will, may Christians believe that we are abused and treated like animals we are treated better than any other religion when we get married men the future husbands give us money it called dowry to do with it as we pleased and also he is obligated to provide for us, we don't have to work if we don't want to.. the men pays for every thing even if we are working our money is for us only unless we wanted to help out, most of us specially who lives in the gulf states don't even have to do house work we have maids, cooks, drivers and gardeners even if we don't came from rich families... I think there nothing better that being a woman in the gulf. In Dubai mostly.

Boy have you fallen for it, hook, line and sinker. So piety is what makes you holy. So if you pray three times a day its one step above once a week. So if you kill in the name of god, it beats killing for no reason? So if your forced, let me say that again, forced to be modest it beats willingly being provocative. Pardon me but what ever happened to freedom of choice, individual responsibility? Have you ever seen a muslim woman beat so bad she can barely see past her swollen eyes. Yeah, and you never will, those burkas the women wear sure are.........discreat. Wake up! let me give you some advice that will serve you for the rest of your life. Believe nothing of what you hear and half of what you see. Peace!

oh...no..I am happy just as I am..( Baptist ),... of course...they believe..what they have been made to believe...like some of our cults...
Do you expect...financial support...when...they could just divorce you...by saying it three time......you cannot even claim ...A Penny...after a divorce...you will be nothing...just nothing...
