I am a post bac student going back to school to fulfil the medical school requirements. I have taken ONE year of both biology and inorganic chemistry and I have credit for physics. My BA was in Economics so I have plenty of courses in English, Math and the humanities already. I am taking the MCAT in a week and want to apply to schools so I dont lose a year. My question is can you be accepted into medical school while still short on Organic Chemistry? I will take it well before Med School, and I am a very good GPA since I have been back in school (GPA=4.0). If anyone can help that would be great, thanks...

scientific colleges require a definite sort of courses and a definite gpa. verify out the scientific colleges and discover out what direction they require, as long as you have those direction and the marvelous gpa (some 3.5) you need to take the MCATs. i be conscious of of human beings who've majored in enterprise and went to scientific college.

It can happen but you need 'someone on the inside'. Somebody has to believe in you that has leverage.
