Great question and one of the many reasons that I decided to leave the Catholic Church. I cannot accept this type of doctrine. There is no sane reason to discourage the use of birth control and then wonder why so many women go to have abortions!!! Ridiculous!

The use of condoms will encourage promiscuity and it will belittle women. One needs to abstain from false practices of sexuality. Then, there will be no unwanted children. As of the moment, unwanted children were housed in charitable institutions and adopted.

They discourage the use of condoms because it promotes premarital sex which is against their sacred teachings. They don't disregard human crisis, look at how they promote natural family planning.

Because to us all children are wanted. Children starve only because of the hardness of peoples hearts. If we all shared what we have no one would ever need starve.And not all of those who have these children you call unwanted are Catholics so we are not responsible for everyones practices.

the first being that it prevents life, which is too similar to killing for them to let it pass
the second is they are trying to teach control, if we just stop humping then maybe there won't be as many unwanted children
