Being a native of Colorado, who had to leave when the Army sent me somewhere else, I can say that ANY place in Colorado is goooood to be in. Although Boulder contains mostly liberal people, much like the rich Hollywood types who have bought out Aspen, being there can be very rewarding. The Rocky Mountain high cannot be duplicated anywhere else, by anything else and all will enjoy it greatly. She should be prepared for snow if she has never experienced winter in the high country. By now, the air should be very crisp and a sweater might be the order of the day. If she likes hot chocolate, it will warm her after walking in a few inches of piled up white that will melt in a few days when the sun comes out. Only the very high areas have snow most of the year. Tell her to enjoy it.

Boulder and the Denver area are nice places to live. They're very expensive though so your sister must be prepared for the high rent and taxes!

Boulder is a different place. It is a college town with its own eccentricities. I myself prefer where I live, Littleton, Colorado.
