I have to wait 2 more months to see a neurologist. I am concerned, because I am starting to have "episodes" again where I cannot walk or move my left arm. My doctor won't do anything, he says I need to be treated and diagnosed by a specialist. He told me whathe thought I had...but I want to see what others have experience or knowledge.

Paralyzation also includes confusion.

I don't need a diagnosis, just looking for other things that might cause my symptoms.

It could be mulitple sclerosis. That is often characterized by a tingling or prickling in arms and legs, followed later by loss of function. Also, stumbling and losing your grip on objects are early signs of MS.

It could also be psychosomatic, and brought on by stress.

Tumors in the brain or spinal cord could also cause some of these symptoms.

Ugh! This is not a fun list, is it? I hope it something really minor and easy to fix.

You might have MS or have a herniated disc (my mom had the disc thing and she has similar stuff.)

If you're concered that it might be a problem with a disc, find out right away. Basically, my mom's disc was digging into her spinal cord, making about as thick and dental floss. If it snapped, she'd paralyzed or possibly dead.

Sooooooooo, I suggest finding out.

Diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) can cause difficulty in walking, and numbness and burning and pins and needles in the extremities.

Would it help you if people, who have no Dr's diploma, diagnose you? Why should i scary you? It seems like you are nervous enough. You'd better to wait for a Dr's diagnoses. I am sorry and GOOD LUCK!
