Why do we tickle?

There are a few reasons that we tickle. They include bonding, flirting, power, enjoyment and erotic pleasures.

BONDING:
When a mother bonds with her baby, she frequently tickles the baby. The baby sees hey smiling and hears her saying “Kootchie Kootchie Koo” and the baby smiles and laughs.
