How about the first cocktail ever made, now known as the Old Fashioned? Dissolve one sugar cube in a small amount of water, add a dash or two of bitters (preferably Angostura), add ice, add Whiskey and stir. Drop in a twist of lemon and you're good to go.

Peach Schnopps
Equal parts of Cranberry juice
and Orange Juice
Very sweet and even though it contains two different kinds of alcohol you can hardly taste it. I have had both men and women drink this drink and they both love it! You can find some great recipies online for it.
