I've been with my first boyfriend for 2 1/2 years and I'm almost 21. And everything is great between us, we already have learned listen, compromise and trust to solve problems...but I just want to know to people actually think that I'm being naive in thinking that me and him might just go the distance?

Is it possible that two people that love eachother and have such an understanding for eachother could last for a long time? Or am I just being naive?

Is anyone out there, still with thier first true love?

People are just envious. That is a long time and if it makes you happy I dont see what wrong with wanting it to last forever. I think your emotions are perfectly normal. Enjoy life. True love is hard to find so when you find it, don't let it go.

Yes, it is very possible. And no, its not naivete to be with the same person for such a long time. I admit, I've had more then one boyfriend, but I've only had one true love, and we've been a couple for 6 years, and now, we're happily married and expecting our firstborn in less than four months' time! :)

Ok, I am not with my first true love, but yes, I think that it will work out if you stick with it. Just go with the flow, you will know if you still want to go far with him.

You've already got a good start. As long as you continue to love each other, who knows where you will end up. Good luck and enjoy your man!

Yes, it is possible. Especially at your age, it is.
If they are 13-14 years old then it's a little harder for it to last.
